VikramSAT RF Board

VikramSAT RF Board is the main communications board for the 'vikramsat', which is a 2U cubesat that me and my teammates are trying to make. This board also includes the RP2350A as the main data processing IC along with multiple interfaces.

The RF transmitter on this board has an output Power of 4 Watts and it is not recommend to use this without a ham radio license. although you can receive data just fine.

It uses the CC1125 RF Transceiver from Texas Instruments as it's Transceiver and GSQ5111 Power Amplifier and it operates in the 70cm band. the RP2350A acts as a control IC for the CC1125 and this simplifies the process for the OnBoard Computer(the OBC of the cubesat)

Why I chose to make this project

Me and my friends got an idea of making a cubesat about this time last year, and started learning all the electronics and design, and i am the leader of the group and i design the communications part. I chose to make this project in highway because this was the perfect time, as i was thinking about starting to make the pcb anf highway was announced, and surprisingly, only 4 hours are left from now until highway ends forever!
