mfk5

A prototype keyboard that contains enough features to make a full size split keyboard. mfk5 is My first keyboard, 5 keys.

This project has concluded and there is a successor, a real full size split keyboard project, mfk60.

Original Goal

The goal is testing a design for each component, footprint, and production process for layered plate design.

• Use Gateron Low-Profile switches on Hot-Swap socket.
• Use Gateron Low-Profile 2U stabilizer, which is top plate mount.
