Boardoza I²C Hub Module

The Boardoza I²C Hub is a compact passive distribution module designed to simplify the connection of multiple I²C devices to a single microcontroller or development board. It distributes the four essential I²C signals—VCC, GND, SDA, and SCL—across multiple connectors, making it easy to build multi-device I²C systems without complex wiring or large breadboard setups.

Compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, STM32, and other I²C-capable platforms, the Boardoza I²C Hub is ideal for projects involving multiple sensors, OLED displays, real-time clocks, EEPROMs, environmental monitoring modules, and other I²C peripherals. Since all connectors share the same I²C bus, the board provides a simple and reliable way to expand I²C connectivity while keeping wiring clean and organized.

Important Usage Notes

  • All SDA pins are electrically connected.
  • All SCL pins are electrically connected.
  • All VCC pins are electrically connected.
  • All GND pins are electrically connected.
  • Every connected I²C device must have a unique I²C address.
  • Devices with identical fixed addresses cannot communicate simultaneously on the same bus.
  • The board does not provide address translation, bus multiplexing, buffering, or voltage level shifting.
  • When connecting multiple modules with onboard pull-up resistors, verify the total pull-up resistance of the bus.
  • Excessive cable length or bus capacitance may reduce communication reliability, especially at higher I²C clock frequencies.
