BoardRepo Sync for Mac
Push your KiCad projects to BoardRepo and pull new versions back down, straight from your Mac menu bar. Sign in and it keeps a folder in sync with its project. New here? Signing in makes your account, no separate sign-up.
Push, pull, resolve
Open a project and the app offers the one action that fits its state, so there is never an ambiguous sync-now button that could clobber your work.
Edited a board on this Mac? Send it up as a new version. Nothing is overwritten on the server; every push is a version you can roll back to.
A newer version on BoardRepo, from another Mac or the web? Bring it down. The app materializes the exact version you pick.
Both sides changed? You choose which wins. Your local files are backed up first, and nothing is ever silently merged or overwritten.
It lives in your menu bar
No Dock icon and no window to manage. Click the menu-bar icon and your connected projects are right there, each showing the action it needs. Closing a window keeps the app running; you quit it from the menu bar when you want to.
Synced projects get a badge
A project you push from your Mac shows a Synced badge on BoardRepo, so you can tell at a glance which boards are backed by a local folder. Everything you push stays private until you publish it.
Signed, notarized, and scoped
The app is Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens with a normal double-click, no right-click-to-open dance. Your access token stays on your Mac. It can push and pull your own boards and nothing else: it cannot delete projects, change your account, or publish anything public. Revoke its access anytime in Settings.
