Voltage regulator design using KiCad 9.0.

Description

This repository contains the schematic of a voltage regulator developed in KiCad version 9.0. The project uses the LM7805 (TO-220) IC, capacitors, and input terminals, as shown in the attached .kicad_sch file.

• Input: +12V
• Output: Regulated +5V (1A max)
• Main components:
• LM7805 (TO-220)
• Filter capacitors (0.33uF and 0.1uF)
• Input terminals

How to use

1. Open the Reg5V.kicad_sch file with KiCad 9.0 or higher.
2. Edit or simulate as needed. 3. Create the PCB layout if desired.
