README

Corne Encoded

A spinoff (pun intended) of Corne Cherry v2.1. The Corne Cherry 2.1 is a reversible hotswap ortholinear split keyboard pcb. It has the following changes:

  • Added rotary encoder support
  • Battery switch (MSK12C02) and terminals
  • Silkscreen changes
  • Change reset to SKRTLAE010 (sideways button)
  • Assembly changes (see build guide)

Projects referenced: Klor, Ferris Sweep, Corne Cherry v2.1

Issues

  • designed for fun, not for production

Production

JLCPCB is recommended, if you produce the gerbers from this project link you can save 8$ off your order. The Kicad files are of an older version and will not be updated.

  • Add cool design to silkscreen or delete it all for minimalism
  • Rewire LEDS for MINI-E support
  • Add power cutoff for LEDs
  • Move/add support for JST proper JST housing.
