Muse round AMOLED gadget: KiCad project (rev A, work in progress)
Open round_display/round_display.kicad_pro in KiCad 9 or 10.
Status
- ERC: 0 errors. DRC: 0 violations. Schematic/PCB parity: OK.
- 4 connections still unrouted. Do not order yet.
- I2S_DOUT: U1 pad 12 to U3 pad 9
- MIC2_N: C41 to U4 pad 20
- VBAT: C8 to U2 pad 33
- VSYS: U2 pad 17 to the VSYS track on In2
- Route them in KiCad (press X on the ratsnest line) and run DRC before ordering.
Board
- Ø46 mm, 4 layers, 1.0 mm thick, ENIG.
- Blue mask, white silk. Choose blue when ordering; JLCPCB ignores the colour in the file.
- All parts are on the top side. The 1.75" CO5300 AMOLED is taped to the back, and its 31-pin FPC wraps into J3 (Hirose FH26W-31S-0.3SHW).
- Firmware: stock muse-gadget-sdk,
tools/muse/board.sh build s3n(Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-AMOLED-1.75 pin map).
Contents
round_display/: schematic, PCB, project libraries.lib/3d: generated 3D models, including the display and its flex.
round_display/fab/: Gerber+drill zip, JLC BOM (LCSC codes), JLC CPL, schematic PDF.- These are out of date until the 4 nets are routed; regenerate after routing.
renders/: 3D renders.viewer/: interactive 3D viewer. Runpython3 -m http.server -d viewer 8792and open http://localhost:8792/?board=round_display
Check before ordering
- Mic pads (GMI4015-2C) are estimated from the datasheet image; verify them against the real part.
- FH26 pinout copied from Waveshare's J3; confirm it against your panel's datasheet.
- Muse logo and Jolly artwork: Meta trademarks; personal use only.
