Open-Hardware CAN-USB interface with optoisolation

Features

• linux SOCKETCAN driver compatible (slcan)
• CANBUS side optoisolation (ISO1050 based)
• powered by USB (build-in DC/DC converter)
• hardware CAN and USB fifo buffers (8-deep CAN and 256-deep USB)
• virtual serial port (FT245 based)
• switchable build-in CAN terminal-resistor (symmetrical)
• up to 1Mbit throughput (no serial port bottleneck)
• EMC and ESD protection (both CAN and USB side)
