JTAG / SWD adapter

This project provide SWD/JTAG adaptation between different type of connector to support multiple probe with standard and custom pinout on a board under test.

Hardware

The board is composed of multiple connectors interconnected between each others in order to provide different type of probe to your board under test.

Here are the connectors available:

• SEGGER 20-pins
• ST-Link V2 Mini
• ARM Cortex 10-pins
• ARM Cortex 20-pins (without trace)
• STMicroelectronics STDC14
• Xilinx 14-pins
• TagConnect TC2030 (pogo pins cable)
• TagConnect TC2050 (pogo pins cable)

Note: The TC2030 & TC2050 connectors can be used with 2.54mm cables to connect a board with a non standard connector.

The board provide also a reset button to perform hardware reset if your board as no button.

The board is provided with a USB-UART bridge for debug. The Tx/Rx pins are also connected to STDC14 allowed by its pinout.

Manufacturing

The board is manufactured by JLCPCB, here is the details you will require to generate an order.

Note: JLCPCB requests some modifications on output files, do not use direct export from KiCad (check the FAQ)

Usage

Debug custom board with Black Magic Probe

Connect a custom board SWD (SWDIO + SWDCLK + RST + Vref + GND) with a Black Magic Probe for debugging.

VCOM exchange

Connect a custom board UART (RX + TX + GND) with the integrated USB-UART bridge.
