An Overkill PCB Badge with NFC and an E ink DIsplay!
Placeholder: will add a better 3d model soon
Its made with a SEEED XIAO ESP_32_C3 :p, a 2.9inch E_ink display with its driver board, NFC (ST25DV04K), and NeoPixels!!.
What it does
It can show your picture and name (the usual stuff), it can also toggle between social media or different profiles depending on what event you are at with a push of a button (can also be wirelessly controlled:D). It also contains a halo of NeoPixels which react to the NFC or can be configured to do other fun stuff (ex: diff lighting modes for each profile). The NFC part of the badge can store multiple URL's for each social media acc or whatever it is you want it to do (toggled by a push of a button). It also has a built in battery charging and management system, so you can just easily plug your badge in before any event and not worry about it.
After attending a hackathon (Fallout), I saw @KaiPereira with his version of a REALLLLLY COOL PCB Badge and decided I wanted one too, I mean why not. So I made this simpler version with a ready-made microcontroller. Now I can have a badge of my own. And yeah, it has lots of scope for improvement, its my first badge after all, and I was in quite a time constraint while making this :).
Credit to @Kai for the PCB's shape as almost every other badge with an NFC and E_ink display i thought of either looked kinda weird or was asymmetrical.
